Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Halalvlees.nl. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Article 1 – Definitions

  1. Webshop / Entrepreneur: halalvlees.nl, located in [Amstelveen], registered with the Chamber of Commerce under the company name [MIZ B.V.] and Chamber of Commerce number [94778582]; hereinafter referred to as: “We” or “Us”.

  2. Customer: the natural person who enters into an agreement with us.

  3. Products: halal meat products offered on our website.

  4. Agreement: the distance contract between Us and the Customer.

  5. Right of Withdrawal: the right to dissolve the agreement without giving reasons within the statutory period, subject to legal exceptions.

Article 2 – Applicability

  1. These terms apply to all quotations, orders, and agreements via halalvlees.nl.

  2. Deviations apply only if agreed upon in writing.

  3. The most recent version of the terms can always be found on our website.

Article 3 – Offers and Conclusion of Agreement

  1. All offers are without obligation, unless stated otherwise.

  2. An agreement is concluded as soon as the Customer places an order and this is confirmed by Us via email.

  3. Incorrect images or prices are not binding.

Article 4 – Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

  1. In accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, no right of withdrawal applies to products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life, including meat and frozen products.

  2. For products unsuitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, the right of withdrawal expires once the seal is broken.

  3. The Customer is clearly informed of this during the ordering process.

Article 5 – Price & Payment

  1. All prices include VAT, as stated with the product.

  2. Payment takes place via the payment methods offered by us.

  3. If payment is not made (on time), we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Article 6 – Delivery

  1. We deliver orders frozen (as indicated) throughout the Netherlands, within the delivery time stated on the website.

  2. The Customer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address and being present on the agreed delivery day.

  3. If the Customer is not at home or unable to receive the order, the instructions of the delivery service will apply.

  4. Since these are perishable products, quality can no longer be guaranteed by Us once the package has been delivered. If the Customer is not at home at the time of delivery and quality loss occurs as a result, this is entirely at the Customer’s risk. No refund or compensation will be provided in that case.

  5. If delivery is not possible due to incorrect address details or absence of the Customer, the payment obligation remains in full.

  6. We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure or by third parties, such as carriers.

Article 7 – Obligations of the Customer

  1. The Customer is required to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.

  2. The Customer is responsible for timely receipt and proper storage of the products.

  3. The Customer must refrain from misuse of the complaints procedure or return process.

Article 8 – Retention of Title

The product remains our property until full payment has been received.

Article 9 – Complaints and Conformity

  1. The Customer must inspect the products upon receipt.

  2. Complaints about incorrect, damaged, or defective products must be reported to Us within 24 hours of receipt by email, with clear photos.

  3. We will respond to complaints within a maximum of 2 working days.

  4. In case of justified complaints, we will either refund the products or deliver new products.

Article 10 – Force Majeure

  1. We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations if caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as strikes, extreme weather, carrier disruptions, power outages, or technical malfunctions).

  2. In the event of force majeure, we reserve the right to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part, or to postpone delivery.

Article 11 – Liability

  1. Our liability is limited to the amount of the respective order.

  2. We are not liable for indirect damage, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 – Intellectual Property

All content on halalvlees.nl (such as texts, images, logos) is protected and may not be used without permission.

Article 13 – Privacy and Data Protection

  1. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  2. Please consult our privacy policy at [link] for more information on the processing of personal data.

Article 14 – Information Obligations

We comply with the Dutch Distance Selling Act: the Customer receives clear information about, among other things, price, delivery, right of withdrawal (and exceptions), and complaints procedure before and during the order process.

Article 15 – Disputes

  1. These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

  2. Disputes will preferably be resolved amicably; failing that, the court in our place of business has jurisdiction.
